Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out how the personal data of users of https://qazaq.education (the “Site”), operated by Sole Proprietor “LOGICMATH.KZ”, is processed and protected in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Its Protection”.

1. General provisions

1.1. This Policy has been developed to uphold human and civil rights and freedoms in the processing of personal data, including the right to privacy.

1.2. Personal data means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (including name, contact details, email address, IP address and similar information).

2. Collection and use of personal data

2.1. The Site collects the following categories of data:

• first and last name of the user (parent and child);
• age / date of birth of the child;
• the parent’s email address;
• phone number (optional);
• learning history, performance, answers to assignments and tests;
• payment and subscription data;
• IP address, browser and session data;
• cookies.

2.2. The data is used to deliver educational services, analyse progress, communicate with users and improve the quality of the service.

3. Processing and storage

3.1. Personal data is processed with the consent of the data subject, including through acceptance of this Policy.

3.2. Data is stored on secure servers hosted in data centres rated no lower than Tier II.

3.3. Data is retained until the user withdraws consent, or for as long as necessary to perform our obligations.

4. Disclosure to third parties

4.1. We do not disclose personal data to third parties, except where:

• the user has given explicit consent;
• it is required to perform the contract (for example, payment processing via Epay by Halyk Bank);
• it is requested by state authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan under applicable law.

5. User rights

5.1. The user has the right to:

• obtain information about their personal data;
• request its amendment, blocking or deletion;
• withdraw consent to processing at any time;
• lodge a complaint with the authorised personal data protection body of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

6. Data security

6.1. We use anti-virus systems, SSL encryption, DDoS protection and authorised staff access to data.

6.2. All employees and contractors with access to data sign non-disclosure undertakings.

7. Processing of children’s data

7.1. The data of underage users is processed only with the consent of their legal representatives.

7.2. Parents have access to all of their child’s data and may restrict or delete it on request.

8. Changes to this Policy

8.1. We reserve the right to amend this Policy without prior notice. The current version is always available on the Site.

8.2. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new version.
